these are the westies at jurong east waiting to go all the way to simei, where val's house is. amazingly, the westies reached in time at 9. the easties (actually, just caleb) was the latest. the northies were 2nd.. hahahaha. so we were waiting at simei. and yes, we were trying to study. while waiting, we discovered something very interesting about this guy. chaos. he looks funny when he laughs cos his shoulders move non-stop. you can watch this funny video here. then caleb turns up in formal wear, to our amusement and his shock. the rest of us were intending to change later at val's house. here's a video of him acting like a fool while waiting in the mrt.

so we all went to val's house and started to decorate the place.

we really didnt know what they were up to, but ...

okay, in case some pple might be wondering.. after this, 5 pple (tim, chaos, joel, val and nic) went to help clear up and wash dishes. to our horror, something happened and water started spewing out of the drainage and flooded the kitchen. well, it wasnt really just water. sediments came out too, in the form of many baby cockroaches (drowned). the mother cockroach was found in the toilet, where i killed it, hence earning the title 'mother killer'(thanks chaos) and the rest gaining the title 'baby killers'. it was really funny, with the guys rolling up their trousers to mop up and clean up the mess.. it was washing a 'giant kitchen dish'. sorry, to all those pple whom we refused to let come in.. we could handle the flood and we didnt want the rest to be freaked out by the drowned sediments :)

then we went to play games! actually, just a game. called 'honey, if you love me, pls smile'. objective: to get pple to smile using whatever means necessary. they had to reply with 'honey, i love you but i just cant smile' with a straight face.

anna used a funny tactic to make jem smile. she sang a song while laughing.. all of us were laughing along cos this was so un-anna like. unfortunately, jem didnt smile. poker face. see the vid here.

of course, things didnt end there. we went to study through the morning. most caught only a couple hours of sleep, just like the '06 june camp. study study study.

so in the morning, we woke up bleary-eyed.

some were still going strong

some just passed out after too much excitement in a day.
